Recommend your two-slice toaster

I've had the same toaster since 2004 and it's no longer working well. All the options I see online are either huge and expensive, or have terrible reviews. Does anybody have a normal toaster that they like?

We have the cuisinart 2 slice toaster. We have had it since 2004 and it does exactly what I want it to - it toasts bread and bagels. I think it is the CPT-160 model - or it looks very similar to it.

I just recently realized it has a "reheat" button for those times when your toast pops up and you forget that you put it on.

In our house it is the most used appliance after the coffee maker.

I’m happy with the Professional Series 2-slice from Bed Bath & Beyond.

I had a two-slice Breville for many years that I loved. I only switched because I needed a four-slice for our growing family and theirs had the controls on the wrong side for our countertop configuration (I needed them on the short side and they were on the long side). I have a Duolit now which I also love, but I think I liked the Breville a bit better. My favorite was that it had a graphical “countdown”, so you had a sense of how close to done the toast was.
