Feminine fashionable clothing for tween girls?

Anonymous
My DD is 11, and contrary to everything I've thought about tweens -- still likes very feminine, somewhat dressy, clothes. She remarked that she wanted new dresses for Christmas because she outgrew a lot of hers. Where to find such clothes that are age appropriate?

This is a bit surprising because most of her friends no longer want to wear dresses, and seem to dress in loose athletic clothing only, the messier, the better, one of the moms said! My kid in contrast, has liked her dresses which have full twirly skirts, and puff shoulders and other feminine accents.

I found a clothing line called Hayden girls which says it has fashionable dresses for tweens. Anyone ever get anything from there? How was quality?

Lulus

There are inappropriate dresses but many appropriate ones too.

Hudson Bay (formerly Lord and Taylor) has a balance between care/laundry and durability that is practical for tweens. https://www.saksfifthavenue.com/c/kids/girls/dresses

Francesca’s. Like Lulu’s, a lot of junk to sift through but some really cute stuff and they have a small selection of kids’ sizes that are just smaller adult styles but not too adult.

Huh? These are like $400/dress.

Lol. And completely impractical for anything but standing on the beach or in a field staring at the sunset while your dress blows dramatically in the breeze. Beautiful though.

Boden? Lots of colorful prints and lots of cute dresses and skirts that seem to me to be quite youthful.

Mark and Spencer. I got my 11 yt this Harry Potter dress and it is very pretty. Only thing is there is not free returns (from US). Pick carefully.

Next Direct also had some nice ones, and you can return for free too.

Maisonette has great choices too in sizes 12+ that are very feminine, but more expensive.
