Air frying maitake mushrooms

Attempting to air fry some maitake in a gf beer batter (you sub beer for seltzer or gf beer). Has anyone done this?
Tips? Do I need parchment paper?


Ive made gf air fried fish but used flour/egg wash/gf panko for that. Is the process similar?
