Two strong wedge issue which will determine this election is education and 2A.

Education is an issue everyone knows and the media talks about, which may swing some suburban voters. Most of the parents aren't too happy with the attempt to brainwash their kids with cultural marxism in the schools. And as someone who have parents who lived through the cultural revolution in China, it is amazing to hear from my kids and what some of my friend's kids about what is being taught at the schools. The push to dumb down math in favor of equity and the removal of merit based exams for Thomas Jefferson High is absurd to me.

The other issue is the attempt of an assault weapon and high cap magazine ban under the democrat house, which rallies the republican base with the 2A sanctuaries last year. Virginia is not Maryland or DC, it has a gun ownership rate higher than Iowa at 45%. An attempt to go after 2A by trying to push through regulations more restrictive than even California was absolutely insane and was always going to rile up the right while only appealing to billionaire like Bloomberg.

The democrats deserve to lose this one, and no amount of brain-washed 20 year-olds flooding into Arlington will compensate for it.
