Tell me about Garrett Park Elementary

| If your child goes there, how do you like it (or not)? We will likely be buying a house in the 20852 zip code and Garrett Park elementary will be the school my child attends in 2 years. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

| Can't help you from personal experience (next year ask me, as my five year old will be attending K in September), but I can tell you that I have never received a negative comment about GP, and many, many people have told me that it has a wonderful feel to it - very close, nurturing neighborhood school. We go to Kindergarten orientation this week, and I am super-excited! GP is also getting a newly modernized school in 2011 (my kiddo will be in the holding school off Grovesnor for his first year, and then back to its usual location on 2011.) I'd be interested to find out personal experiences as well, though. |
