Brunch dress code at L’Auberge Chez Francois

We’re taking family to L’Ainerge Chez Francois for brunch on Sunday. I know it’s kind of old school. Do men need a sport coat?

call them and ask

If you are upstairs, yes. The brassiere is more casual.

A sport coat? What is this? The 1920s?

My DH wears a blazer and an open collar shirt to restaurants like L'Auberge. I'd say about 30 to 40% of the men have on jackets and may 10% are wearing ties

We had out anniversary dinner there last month, and this is accurate. If you're dressed too casually, you'll stand out.

Nice place, by the way. Enjoy!

Dh always wears a jacket and tie, I usually just wear a dress or blouse and skirt with heels.

You don’t have to wear a sports coat. We’ve gone without one. While many people dress nicely, it’s not required nor will they thumb their nose at you.
