I live in Maryland but I get a lot of the political ads for Northern Virginia. I have come to notice that as soon as the ad starts using scare tactics, that it is an ad supporting a Republican. I guess it works because that seems to be the tactic used in all those right wing news shows too. What is up with that? |
Yeah, scare tactics are their go to strategy. They are trying to sell the CRT is the big, bad boogey man in this current election. |
Lol - are you saying the democrats aren’t using scare tactics in that race? |
Kind of a scare tactic, too, to say that voting for this Republican will lead to the end of democracy. |
Oh, please. McAuliffe runs his own scare tactics campaign by trying to equate Youngkin with Trump every chance he gets and by insisting Youngkin will make abortion illegal in VA. At least own your own big, bad boogeymen - of which there are many. |
EXACTLY. These people are such hypocrites. Always projecting. |
If you understand the state of the GOP, then you would understand why this isn't wrong. |
Youngkin has made this pretty clear and he has not disavowed Trumpism. Silence = complicity. |
Case in point ^^ |
Va GOP is running an ad about a nutty Republican activist who lost her mind when her son had to read a Pulitzer Prize Book by Toni Morrison in AP English 10 years ago. |
I mean January' 6th sort of demonstrated that republicans have little regard for democracy if it means they can hold onto power. |
He was caught saying that he would like to do something about abortion righrs. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/glenn-youngkin-virginia-abortion-video/2021/07/07/1b551bee-df81-11eb-9f54-7eee10b5fcd2_story.html |
Are the excuses for mcauliffe's loss already being "reimagined"? |
Youngkin was already claiming fraud in this election. America - as a democratic republic - is dying. Putin is winning. |
