Graphing calculator really needed for PSAT, or will a scientific calculator do?

Anonymous
My 11 grade DD is taking the PSAT this week. It says she needs to bring a graphing calculator but she has always used Desmos so she doesn't have a physical graphing calculator. Would love to not have to buy one if we don't have to.

Question - for the PSAT, would a scientific calculator do or does she really need a graphing calculator?

Whatever calculator she can use the fastest.

Who said that? PSAT rules say any scientific calculator is okay but if it’s a graphing calculator, it can only be one of the specified ones.
