i mean I know during pregnancy you aren't supposed to hang out in a hot-tub.... and I've heard no hot hot baths as well because it can elevate your temperature too much. but what is "hot"? I mean, I don't really like a warm bath... i want to take a hot-ish bath. and I also don't take long baths, maybe only 10-15 mins max BUT is that too long? and does it matter during the tww?
anyhow, this bothers me every tww.... but then I forget to ask, then AF comes... and around and around. so far some months I take a short hot bath some I refrain and ONLY shower. but its a chilly day and our heat is off and well, i want to warm up! thoughts, advice? what have you heard? what have your doctors told you? and if it matters our tub is really small and deep so usually i fill it up to about mid waste (not up to my shoulders) and also i don't heat the bathroom while in there so its not like i'm in a hot bath AND in a hot room... thanks ladies |

i think you'll be OK with a warm bath. i wouldn't make it so hot that your skin turns red, or so you'd feel flushed. i've done it before during 2ww. check w/ your doctor to be sure too...

| I don't think it matters until the neural tube starts to close which doesn't happen until after the positive preg test |
