Can anyone recommend a travel advisor for planning vacations with young kids? Our budget is generous (maybe 20K or so for a one week vacation for a family of 5?) but not crazy (ie, not looking to plan a six figure safari).
I feel like my kids are growing up too fast and we have more money than we have time; I'd love to have someone plan out some great vacations for us! |
| 20K isn’t much at all for a week’s vacation, luxury-class, for a family of five. |
| Just go to a dude ranch for a week, that will set you back 10-12K, add in flights and a couple nights on front end somewhere close by. Very little planning needed. Or go on an Adventures by Disney. |
| I kind of agree that a resort may be a good option and not require any planning. |
| Look up black tomato. Ridiculous name. Great travel ideas. |
| Tauck also has family travel trips |
There is literally a. Simultaneous thread going on with responders attacking that op for having such a ludicrous budget. |
| With that budget you really aren’t doing luxury. And the ones I know charge a pretty substantial fee that would eat at least a 1/4 of your budget. |

Thanks for the suggestions!
Our budget is flexible so I’m open to any recommendations for advisors that would require a higher number. |
It isnt really them looking for a high number, it is more a factor of how much of your budget you are willing to give up. |

OP again. And I was just thinking….
Is it true that 20K doesn’t get a luxury vacation anymore? We literally haven’t traveled in two years and our kids are young (8, 5, 2), so before that we’d only done a couple low key things. Anyway just surprised that a some people here scoffed at the idea of a 20K luxury vacation. |
Nope. That budget was $30K. Much more. |
| You can’t even fly first-class for a family of five on $20,000. |
