DS just informed me that he's planning on applying to JMU for 11/1 deadline, not January like he had originally sketched out.
JMU website says they need the official SAT score report to come from CB as part of application process (not just self-reported score). Anyone know how long the turnaround is for the score reports? Test was taken in August. All I can find is a description for Rush service, which I'd prefer to avoid. Yes, I know we're basically a week away.... And he's got to confirm this new date with his HS counselor, too... |

OP, I was just in this situation with DS for other schools. We requested scores be sent on October 4 and, as of yesterday, they still hadn't been received at the school. So, I forked over the $$ to have them sent rush this week.
Not that I would ever be so cynical as to think that is all part of the College Board money-making plan.... |
| It may take a week or two. Order today. Rush doesn't do much. Most colleges accept documents that arrive a little after the deadline. |
| Usually only your app has to adhere to deadline. Other documents can trickle in; but don't delay too long of course. |

Ugh, OP, I’m in a similar situation with my DS. Here are a couple articles we found that cleared things up for us. We did end up sending rush scores on Friday though, just to be safe.
