call to confirm receipt of contract?

| We have chosen a school for our child and sent in the contract a few weeks ago. Should we call or email to confirm receipt? |

| I would--it can't hurt and at least in our part of DC, the mail can be quite unreliable. |

| P.S. Or you can ask your bank if your check was cashed. |

Did anyone fedex their check/contract? Mine is going to get there right on the due date otherwise.

| Has anyone received confirmation that their contract/check was received by GDS? I haven't heard anything and am planning on calling over there today, but given that this is the first day back from Spring Break, I'm not sure I will get through. |

I'm a current GDS parent. Usually, it takes about three to four weeks before they mail the countersigned (by Peter Branch, I believe) contract back to you. That will be your only confirmation. |
