Are u worried the longer it stays warm in Oct the longer it will take to warm back up in the spring?

It may take until late May to fully warm back up and get rid of the cold.

SMH. Please tell me OP is not serious.

Yes like I started my period at 16 so will go through menopause late too.

My best friend actually thought that having her period early meant she would also go through menopause late. She has an Ivy League education, but admittedly not in the sciences.

So...you know. Stupid people everywhere.

NO. LOL That is not at all how it works. In fact according to your logic, the longer it stays warm, the less time there is to get cold, so it should get much warmer much sooner in the spring.

No, I don’t think there is a correlation. It depends on the amount of sunny days in February.

What's the theory here, exactly, that the winter always lasts a specific duration and so the later the cold arrives, the later it leaves? Has that... really been your experience with past winters?

No, that's silly to think that, and really silly to worry about something made-up like that.
