WAGS and Spirit

Can anyone make sense of this message? Seems like a whole lot of status quo to me. Are they taking any steps to actually hold the Spirit accountable?

WAGS is a business. They run a tournament and use the profits to take board members on vacation. They don't care about the players' wellbeing, they care about keeping their access to the team. Next time there's a 20 page thread about the WAGS tournament, remember that you're just funding a few executive's nights out.

Maybe it’s me, but I don’t have the time and energy to follow all the twists and turns in the on-going saga that is the off the field Washington Spirit issues.

Name me an organization, company or politician when this is not true. When you buy any product or services, there’s an Exec/Board Member that’s enjoying your money. This is the same for any non-profit organization that you donate to.

I support what WAGS is doing…..they are supporting the female players. The Spirits has made ownership and coaching changes so if WAGS withdraws, they will just be hurting the players. Stand strong with the female players.
