Moving from adolescent doctor to adult practice/gyn

Anonymous
My daughter is turning 18 and needs to move to an adult practice. I'm wondering if anybody has recommendations. We are in MoCo. Also wondering if there are any adult women on here who take ADHD meds. Do you go to a separate practice for that or will a gyn prescribe? Thanks for any advice.

Comprehensive Primary Care. Bethesda office / Chevy Chase office. All good.

I just became a patient at Rockville Internal Medicine. I saw a new doctor there, Allison Hockman. It’s a huge practice with numerous different specialists. Dr. Hockman told me she sees herself as a one stop shop: primary care, gynecological care, prescribing my antidepressants. She’s young and friendly and would be great at putting your dd at ease, and since she’s new there, she has a fairly open schedule. I don’t know if she prescribes ADHD meds, but there’s definitely someone at that practice who will.
