digestive problems onset at 8 years. what should i do differently?

hi. our dog was always allergic to poultry, so we don't give her any of that. but she has been fine with kibble, some pet store toppers and occasional meat scraps for 8 years. now she seems to have diarrhea all of the time. is this common for dogs as they get older and what are some typical remedies for this? A special kibble formulation?

Simplfy. No scraps, no toppers. See if that helps.

Our dog definitely got more sensitive as he aged. He keeps hoping, but nope. No more table scraps.

Have you tried a bland diet for a couple days? Rice or steamed sweet potato, canned pumpkin purée, mashed bananas, boiled meat…

And - call the vet, if you haven’t yet!

Dogs can develop additional allergies over time, especially if they are fed the same thing every day. Bernie's Perfect Poop worked wonders for our puppy with ongoing digestive problems.
