Basketball in DC

| Looking for a basketball team/league for my seven year old daughter. She is pretty athletic and relatively tall but no basketball experience yet. I'm looking for something that would give her exposure and experience in the sport but not be too intense. We are in NE DC so ideally would be in DC or close in suburbs (Silver Spring, Takoma Park, PG County). |

| I know there used to be a Palisades girls league, not sure it it’s still going. Also, Jellef Rec Center has a league with coed teams at younger ages. You could sign up for a HoopEd skills class and ask the coach about teams. |
