Surprised to see least favorite teacher in a political ad

Anonymous
I am going to vote for Terry McAuliffe but I was surprised to see my son's least favorite teacher in one of his ads. I am also surprised that FCPS is okay with it. Federal Government employees could never say- I am with HHS and I chose [insert candidate here].

Different rules for county employees versus federal. Get over it.

I’ve seen a Loudoun teacher in a Youngkin ad and sheriffs in ads for both (many in uniform). This isn’t surprising.

Why is that teacher your least favorite?

No version of the "Hatch Act" for state employees. Sorry.

Sheriffs can do political ads because it is an elected position. I agree it seems divisive and unprofessional. Looking at Youngkin’s Flicker account he had a uniformed Boy Scout posing with him which is against Boy Scout rules. I should link the Flicker pictures. Most of the people who show up for his campaign appearances are elderly overweight white guys in tacky veterans clothing. Probably not the types a billionaire normally hangs out with. My father served in three wars as an officer and never felt the need to advertise like these sad draftees who probably served two years.

This is the Flickr and these are pictures from April. I was trying to find out the venue in Glen Allen where he held a rally three days ago. My point in posting this is to point out the lack of diversity of his voters. It takes more than old white people to win.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by the almost total lack of masks inside in early April, but wow.

She is no doubt an activist for a union and that is why she is featured in an ad. Pay back.
