Why or why not?
I was recently told that I should always cut them off! |
| The leather or jacron label that is stitched under the belt loops, like on Levi’s? I never thought twice about it before now. I leave it. My husband leaves his. One ripped off an old pair of Levi’s and left much darker blue denim to show through, which looks odd. |
What is the reasoning behind this? |
| What? No. This seems like extra effort for no apparent reason. Is it so people don’t know what brand you’re wearing? |
| No but I’ve considered it. I air dry my jeans and on some pairs the leather tab gets crunchy and warped. |
| Why? |
You would need to do it as soon as you get the jeans. I air dry my jeans as well and had one crack. I cut it off the rest of the way and the denim material underneath was much brighter than the rest of the worn, washed jeans. |
| Hell no! |
| You better not or the Jeans police will lock you up. Just like you’re not allowed to remove your mattress tag. Major jail time. |
| People who are huge may want to remove it. Doesn't it also have your measurements on it? |
|
I think men’s do, women’s don’t? |
| I’ve never thought to do this. I wear Levi’s and always leave it on |
No, never. It's part of the design. Unlike those string ties at the back hem of everyone's coat that they don't know to remove. |
are you really serious?
