| I don’t mind one but my 16 year old neighbor just started driving and is now using her dad’s old car. The problem is the car now has the gay bumper sticker, I’m worried some people might not like it and some people might say means things to her. What’s the best way to tell her to remove it without making anyone mad? |
Let me just answer this simply. No. And also, not even if you live in Virginia. |
|
I have an Equality Virginia magnet on my car. My youngest (19) has a Pride sticker on his car. No one has ever said anything about it. Not even when we were living in the rural Deep South.
Seriously, OP. Are you living in 1950? No one cares. |
You want to know how to tell someone who is not your kid that you don't like what they put on what is not your car? |
| What the heck? Stay out of it, OP. Jeez. |
| They might say a mean thing like “get that gay bumper sticker off your car”? |
| Is this a real post? |
|
Let me add, my neighbor has Jesus sticker on her car. How can I tell her to remove it because some people don't agree with it.
|
| Her decal bothers only you. Stop acting as if you are being selfless. |
| This sounds real. |
+1 This is about the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. The term “Karen” as an adjective is a perfect description. |
| Another vote for dumbest thing ever in DCUM. |
| Not your car. Not your kid. MYOB. |
|
I would understand being concerned from a safety perspective, depending on where kid is driving. (Locally, wouldn’t be an issue.)
However, this is not your child so you should MYOB. Why do you care? |
