People say it's trendy, but I haven't met any little Vivians (or tween/teen)

I have a three year old and we have met one Vivian and one Vivienne in daycare and preschool. I don't think it's super trendy but it's having a moment.

But I also wouldn't let that dissuade you if you love it. It's still outside those tippy top names that are very common. You may run into children with the same name, but your kid is unlikely to go through school as one of three Vivians.

Our DD has a top 100 name we have met a couple kids with the same name over the years but she's never had a classmate with the same name. I think Vivian is in the same general category.

The Vivienne we know goes by Vivi and it's a very sweet nickname! Great kid, too.

Around 4. It’s one of the more common names I hear among my 7 year old DD’s friends — about half Vivian and half Vivienne for spelling. Still a beautiful name!

Yeah, no. According to the social securty administration's website, Vivian was number 101 in 2020 and Vivienne was number 260. In both cases, the name has steadily increased in popularity since 2000, but there has not been a huge change in the past few years.

none and I wish I could convince DH because I love the name Vivian but he's not interested.
