I think so too. The players that can get on with European teams should jump ship asap. The women's champions league games I have seen are way better quality than NWSL. Also, the way the NWSL and USWNT tied their plights together does not help grow better players.

I'm glad they're speaking out - its tough- if the league folds you have hundreds without jobs. No one wanted to be the one to cause that, which they were threatened with. So many players speaking out now.

Yep there is no turn on the USWNT. Some of those players are just mailing it in when they play the NWSL.

I hope the NWSL not only survives but thrives.

We need more Women sports in this country.

My DD and hundreds of thousand of other US girls soccer players and watch and learn from these professional players.

So very true.

Some @WashSpirit notes from a source:
Michele Kang offered to pay for the team’s jersey sponsorship rights, a $1m deal for Cognosante for the remainder of the 2021 season. But Steve Baldwin said no and accepted a $200,000 deal with IntelliBridge

I have heard that intellibridge has not paid along with investor

+1 Totally agree. These cannot be parents of girls commenting.

There is no proof this happened. She should provide evidence to all you people who “demand transparency”

Kang can say whatever she wants and not offer proof. Baldwin and Lynch hate Kang and regret bringing her in. They should sell snd keep in market - sell to her or someone else at market value or better

Selling below market value to avoid selling to Kang —- The league should block that

New investors are not helping change the subject

Personally, as far as the Baldwin’s go I like Alec the best, then Billy, Adam, and Stephen in that order.

Perhaps these players will learn about business and what it takes to make enough money to start a pro league and be a major investor in a team. Hint: ruthlessness, cronyism, and dishonesty.

Would it be cronyism is Kang brought in her team and favs? Her trusted advisors. Look around - all sports teams do that. Owners often surround themselves with trusted advisors.

The real story should be these awesome players that continue to win despite their fan groups dialing back support and their obnoxiousness. As it the 20-30 members mean squat
