Seriously?!? Who needs a luxury new car ASAP?!? Buy something else if you're desperate.

It took us from roughly April to September to get ours. I love it but it was a hassle to wait (had to extend.my lease).

When you go to the cars configuration page it tells you right there. Or keep reloading the existing inventory page and you’ll eventually get lucky - you can get those within a week or so.

Existing inventory, yes. But you have to be quick - these cars get purchased within minutes of appearing on their website.

Weird. My neighbor bought a Model Y this summer, they gave him a multi day test drive, then he chewed on it for a week or two, and ultimately bought it. I’m not interested. It has to be charged for 20 minutes every 2 hours on a road trip. Hard pass.

Your car was built in California, you moron. It can't be that bad, if the wheels haven't fallen off.

Where do you get this from? We have one and the charge lasts for 300+ miles. Unless you're driving 150 miles an hour this is not true. We save the long road trips for the SUV but the Tesla will tell you where the charging stations are if you put your destination in. It's really not hard. Lots of malls, restaurants, etc have them. Some restaurants and other establishments are free. NBD

Not true for charging 20 minutes every 2 hours.

I have the standard Y, and with plenty of reserve I do 20 minutes of charging every 3 hours on road trips. I could drive further but I normally stop to grab a bite, have a coffee etc.

What? We've never done that on a road trip. Where'd you hear that?

A neighbor told him so it must be true.

That neighbor got it from another neighbor.
