so MLS next another scam? When your next door neighbor with less resources can produce more and better than you you got a problem.

06 boys by 3-1.

The match video in YouTube paints a stark contrast. And not in a good light, for the folks at the Hill.

FCV 06 could take both of them easily with superior skills and tactics.

The '06 Arlington team is strong, but I expect some of their players to move to DCU when the opportunity arises.

Pshhhhhh...

VA Revolution (Sportsplex™) will crush all three in a heartbeat and it's not even close.

Its pointless unless at least 1 member of that Arlington team makes it to the pros. Unless either team produces a pro from that game its a complete wash.

THe top 5 players from the 06 DCU team play up this year. Come run your mouth about a program that always fizzles when the big boys take the field next year.

Not getting into the Arlington v. DCU debate, but DCU has been a major disappointment in terms of youth soccer development.

We moved down here from the NYC area a few years ago. The NY Red Bulls are light years ahead of DCU in terms of community involvement and offering training and development opportunities to youth in the metro area. DC United is basically invisible.

You realize red bulls youth is not doing that hot. Programs like FC Delco and PDA know how to run youth training academies.

DCU passed (did not give offers to) many of the Arlington 06s. But this is what is being said...DCU has lots of talented players and are still struggling to find the chemistry (for a lack of a better term), but everyone is confident that it will be a strong team. Same is being said about the 07s.

It cuts against the grain of what most people say about Arlington boys teams - they are a pretty small group of boys but played circles around the DCU kids if the highlights are at all representative. Pretty clear that DCU looks like they are seeking grown men at that age.

You can criticize the NY Red Bulls youth programs, but in many aspects DC United simply has none at all. Red Bulls run development training programs, summer camps (residential and day camps), etc. The first year we were here (2017/18) there was some DC United youth development program, but it closed after 2018 and never came back. DC United is invisible and has zero involvement or investment in DC-metro youth until what ... they're teenagers trying out for the DCU youth team? Suckage.
