Reputable goldendoodle breeder

Looking for recommendations on reputable goldendoodle breeders. Willing to travel for quality breeder with high standards if need be. Family members have allergies so rescues are not an option for us unfortunately.

Not all Golden Doodles are hypoallergenic. I've met multiple doodles that got the Golden coat and shed.

Get a full poodle or another purebred dog that you will know what type of coat you are getting.

This, just get a poodle. Poodles come in red, apricot, parti, and can be cut to resemble doodles.

I second this. I have a black and white party poodle that people often think it’s some sort of doodle. we give him a doodle haircut. He absolutely does not shed! If he does, it’s so minimal we never find hair on our clothes, or furniture, or anywhere else. My husband and my son are both allergic to dogs and neither are allergic to our dog-and he sleeps in my sons bed up near his pillow. Same for a very close family friend. No allergic reaction at all to our poodle.

I’m on the poodle wagon, too. I’ve had Goldens, LOVE THEM, but my husbands allergies have worsened to where after our last Golden died, we couldn’t get another. I considered Goldendoodlea but decided there is no such thing as a reputable Goldendoodle breeder. I love our standard poodle. Smart as a whip, very affectionate, does not shed, is a light apricot color that looks like a yellow Goldendoodle. The apricot colors can be softer.

My goldendoodle sheds. You should look for a f2, a goodendoodle and poodle mix.

Honestly have the family member with allergies spend significant time with golden doodles. My brother with allergies got one and had to rehire it since he was allergic. Since then he got a poodle and no problem at all.

Try much ado about doodles. They’re great- dogs are coat tested and we haven’t had any issues!
