IB Middle Years Grade 10?

My child was invited to join the IB Middle Years Program for Grade 10, having attended a MYP middle school. Not a lot of info was given. It says they will work on a capstone project in advisory and will go on field trips. My child doesn’t seem to excited about it. Is this something worth doing?

Just for 10? What happened to 9? At RM everyone us in the myp program for 9 and 10. No field trips. There is a project but for most kids it is just a get it done thing as it is not graded. It might be better with a smaller focused group.

It sounds like they are setting up a cohort to support and encourage kids to join the diploma programme in 11th. I would have them try it out.
