Moving to a new state during a FET cycle

Has anyone done this?

I had my FET Oct 2 and my appointment to find out if I am pregnant is Oct 12. We are closing on a house and moving this month...moving on Oct 28. I know SGF wants to monitor for 8 weeks. I found a new OB in my new city but they aren't a fertility clinic.

You can have an OB order multiple betas and perform a vaginal ultrasound or 2. That's all an RE will do. Just make sure the OB is willing to treat you in early pregnancy.

Agreed. You can get in betas with SGF, then you can find a new OB to do a viability scan.

Exact same situation. I got my FET and moved out of state the following week. SGF was able to send me beta lab orders that I could take to a local lab (think Quest) and that’s what I did. 2 strong tests and now I’m almost 8 weeks and have my first ultrasound next week with a new OBGYN. I also went in at 6 weeks but they wouldn’t do an ultrasound, they just looked at the labs and got me established as a new patient. Good luck!

That is fabulous info. If this one doesn’t work we have one more embryo and I was really not wanting to fly back and forth a bunch.
