Do you tip at Sola Salon?

They say you don’t need to tip the owner, but what about at a place where they lease their own space and act as a sole proprietor instead of an independent contractor?

And if you don’t tip, isn’t it awkward to leave without leaving an extra something?

I do, and I’m not generally prone to tipping unless it feels required. I’ve seen others tip there too.

I do. I tip my hairdresser the same as I did when she was at a large salon. I love the concept and I am happy it seems busy when I am there.
