Toxic team manger with foul mouth durning game gets removed from game

This weekend made me lose all respect for that family. They isolated themselves and sat on the other side of the field, as in the player side. To make it even worst they sat next to the opposing team. It was the beginning of the second half and we were down 0-3. Out of no where we hear the coach from the other team screamed ‘ref I need you to get them off the field’ ( I can’t remember exactly what he said). Then another coach walked towards the family and said ‘ I heard what you said’.

Ref did go up to the family and they eventually left the field and we resumed the game. I am embarrassed of what happened. It is a poor representation of our team and the league.

If anyone from that team is reading this, I would like to apologize for her behavior. Please know not all the parents are like that.

Please at least tell me if this was in upper Montgomery county? I'll leave it there to be vague. If so, I was trying to figure out what was going on from across the field. It was getting intense.

You’re a class act, op! (Because this is dcum I guess I should specify I meant that sincerely not sarcastically.) you’re not the only one who has been there with a problem parent on a child’s team.

Sounds like a weird situation. Shrug.

Are you saying a parent on your team purposefully sat next to the other team's parents and... what, whispered insults at them? At the parents? The players?

Anyway, sounds like the problem was taken care of. I hope the child can still keep playing, though. Poor kid.

I didn't know we could do this. I'm going to sit next to the opposing bench next game and use some major reverse psychology on their coach.

The club will deal with it

I would complain to the club if they allow any parent to sit on the players side manager or not.

managers doing it seems fairly normal. Their spouses and other children joining them isn't

Except with the youngest kids who may need supervision, or if there's an injury, not sure why there's any need for a manager to be with the team during games.

I’ve been a TM for different age groups and completely agree. I never sit on the team side, unless I’m needed because of an injury. I help check in the team and then go to the parent side. There is no reason for the TM to be sitting with the the team or behind the team.

Yeah that’s weird. All TM duties are before the game.

Who cares where they sit as long as they don't insult people?

So no one should be on the player bench side of the field except for refs, players, coaches. Everyone else should be on the opposite side of the field. Even sitting on the goal ends is not allowed.
