All star tournament

There was a Father's Day tournament in Fairfax in June. What is the equivalent for the fall season?

Thanks. I was wondering why the spring tournament was so different from what I was expecting.

Ok, this is a little nit-picky, but it's coming from a place of curiosity and not criticism.

The website says the maximum field size for U13-U19 is 75x110 yards. But as most football games in the US are played on (American) football fields and the goals are placed at the backs of the end zones, isn't that a pretty clear length of 120 yards (American football's 100 yards plus 10 on each end zone)? For this tournament, do they shift that?

you'd better report it to FIFA..

lol...just wondering whether the tournament organizers are not aware of the field dimensions or whether they go to so much extra trouble to get the field to 110 yds

Are you the person who just moved here and doesn’t understand why one team doesn’t practice on a full field?

The organizers have to see how many teams sign up in each age group and then match it up with the field permits they managed to secure from Fairfax. They might be using grass fields or smaller turf fields.

Most soccer games are not in fact played on football fields. There aren’t that many football fields.

my kids had a great time at the Herndon tournament the last time they held it (pre-Covid). It was the coldest weekend of the whole winter I think, though. Brrr.
