Where can I get a BETA blood draw on a Saturday in DC?

I'm with a west coast clinic and my beta day is going to fall on a saturday. Does anyone know where I can go to get a blood draw on a saturday morning? I would wait till monday to go to my gyno, but well, you know how it is!

How many dpo will you be on Saturday? My clinic will let you go on Friday if your beta falls on Saturday, or makes you wait until Monday if it falls on Sunday. So maybe you could go on Friday??

There is a labcorp in DC that is open Saturday (or at least it was when I used it a year ago). I think you need a car to get there. Check the labcorp ste to find it.

Saturday will be 9 days past my FET. I found the labcorp, but will they give me my result the same day? I'll try to see if my doc will see me friday. Thanks!

your b/w script needs to have "STAT" printed on it. that way, labcorp will do the test on saturday and fax the results back to your dr. on saturday itself. but your doctor's office needs to be open on sat. for them to call you and let you know the results.

During the week labcorp can get results to your doctor same day if the Rx is marked "stat." NOt sure about the weekends though.

You can also go to one of the Shady Grove offices that are opened on the weekend and they can do teh blood work for you same day. Shady Grove doesn't do betas for their own patients on the weekend, but they will do it for outside patients. I went to shady grove when I needed my second beta done on a weekend. They ended up forgetting to fax the results to my doctor until Monday -- but when I called the Shady Grove nurse on call line over the weekend because I was starting to panic, someone from SG called me back and gave me my results even though I wasn't a patient there.

Columb ia Fertility does Betas on the weekend. I don't know if they'll do it if you're not a patient, but it's definitely worth a call!
