For business, yes they do. Guaranteed pipeline to The Street. |
^ more specifically--Frank Batten School UVA or similar area at Georgetown |
For me, BC. I like everything about Jesuit colleges more. But that's a pretty big money difference |
ND is too religious for me but if your child applied it’s presumably not too religious for him. So ND. It’s a comparable school and that’s a lot less. |
There's no way my kid would go to Duke, but Caltech wold be his dream school. |
I thought that was Bucknell. |
How certain are they about marine or environmental science and do they need to save money for grad school? If they are certain and money isn’t a factor, I would probably pick Cal Berkeley. |
I’d pick Berkeley over Caltech because your interests seem interdisciplinary and Berkeley is better and deeper across those areas - agroecology, marine, and env. engineering. Duke would be great too, as would ucsd if you really want the marine. But ncstate for free is hard to pass up, w/great program and money left for future. |

Agree with BC. ND a bit higher ranked and my kid had this same choice and went with BC because of location primarily can't beat Boston and the Jesuit philosophy is just really special. That said two great choices. BC may be a bit more because more expensive location? |

Ooof. This is actually a tough one, but I pick UMD. That cost savings is amazing. |
