It's very awkward. I know fans and the NFL are just delighted by all of this, but I can't imagine being enthusiastic about a relationship like this if it was your son or daughter. No rational parent hopes their child has an extremely high profile romance with paparazzi everywhere and branding opportunities and a massive circus around everything they do. Even if your child is an adult who is a famous football player, you are hoping they find love and commitment and stability. Not whatever this is.

I'm not a pot stirrer and haven't been a total relationship denier, but there is something odd about the way she started the run toward Travis, after confirming that she was being filmed by fans. Almost like she began a preplanned trot before looking toward him or looking at him standing there. Even the kiss seemed not quite spontaneous.

But if this was real, it's sweet.

She is the one who encouraged the parasocial relationship with her fans. The price of fame is privacy. She has made a billion dollars over encouraging her fans to figure out her “secrets.” She her fans like this.

DP. It’s very reminiscent of HiddleSwift. And the run is like she’s recreating a moment she had with Joe in Ms. Americana. Comes across like the whole thing is a dig at Joe just like her whole performative tbing with Tom Hiddleston was a dig at Calvin Harris.

That was adorable. They are a cute match. She was never going to have a balanced successful long term relationship with a singer/ actor. She’s the GOAT. It only worked for Tim McGraw because Faith Hill stepped back. No male singer/ actor can compete with her success. She needs a successful guy but one that is not in direct competition and one that is grounded in reality but ok with fame. 💕
