| My DD had a baseball coach that would take responsibility for a poorly managed game but has not had a soccer coach do the same. Coaches blame the players all the time but never look at the adjustments they should have made. Anyone ever call the coach out? |
| Oh dear lord. |
| We had a coach who did take responsibility. He would tell the players that it was his fault, basically because he didn’t change formation to play better against the other team’s format. It could mean a huge difference. |
We don’t care |

| I made the mistake of not cutting all 4 midfielders 3 years ago ! Time for some fresh blood around here. |
| Well baseball is more coach dependent- while they are on base they are waiting for calls from the coach. A coach can majorly screw something up. |
| I think it was a mistake when I told the kids, 'It's time for the best part of every coach's job- the cuts.' |
Sigh. Are you paying for wins or for something else? If the coach's halftime talk is about making tactical adjustments then in some ways it's tacit admittance of what they instructed the team to do in the first half might have been incorrect. Do you need to be in the halftime and post game huddles to get affirmation? |
| a coach once told us that he could not spell anyone but only could spell anone |
