LCPS school board has decided enough is enough with the fake outrage over imaginary problems of trans children and CRT.

New policy limits public commentators to people who actually have a stake in the schools -- i.e. taxpayers, students, parents, employees. It's designed to prohibit outsiders like right-wing agitator Matt Walsh from grandstanding while advocating for reckless policies.

Those of us who live in Loudoun County are completely fed up with the behavior of these fringe right-wing lunatics. Shut them up.

Supposedly, Walsh has rented an apartment in the area to get around this? I thought I saw that info posted elsewhere, but I can't find it now
I'm a Loudoun resident, too, and this is all just ridiculous. No matter where you fall on these issues, I don't understand why someone who has absolutely nothing to do with the county or the school system should be able to drum up so much attention.

Makes total sense, glad to see LCPS doing this. We haven’t seen much of this in APS as far as I know, but if it comes we will appreciate that LCPS showed leadership on this so we can learn from their experience. Even if Matt Walsh did/does rent an apartment in Loudoun to get around this, there is a limit to the number of people who will be willing to do so given the cost and delay in receiving documentation to prove your residency (i.e., can’t make a snap decision to attend another jurisdiction ‘a board meeting because you’re riled up about something). Matt Walsh can get his two minutes and then everyone can ignore him and move on.

They were threatening people sitting near them who aren't aligned with their ignorant beliefs at the last sb meeting with a crowd in attendance. They've made enough of a threatening spectacle that a lot of people won't consider attending. They're trying to make sure no sane people run for the school board.

It was on Fox 5 yesterday. Walsh is a tool, a professional agitator for clicks and dollars. Good for Loudoun County.

absolutely insane. I have had some misgivings in the past about trans activists, but to go to these extreme lengths to harass children … just unreal.

Agree. Have an opinion and a legit association with LCPS? Speak up. I agree with PP, it is the outside agitator scenario that is getting out of hand,
