| Does anyone know much about the VPSL Pre-ECNL (U11-12). Is there a playoff for these age groups? Do they just compete within the North and South? We had two "preseason" matches vs the North but not seeing much beyond that. Also, are these all of the top teams from their respective clubs? Thanks |

It's hard to tell if these are the top teams at this age group because there is a lot of roster sharing across teams and duplicate team naming. For example, in the girls U12 North division https://tgs.totalglobalsports.com/public/flightstandings.aspx?eid=2384&fid=12600, there are teams with pre-ECNL in their names (VYS, PWSI, Loudoun, VSA). The Villarreal team is actually FCV. It would appear these are their top teams but some also have similarly named Pre-ECNL teams in other leagues like EDP. Maybe clubs actually have 2 Pre-ECNL teams, or maybe 1.5 teams and rotate rosters around. Hard to tell. Youth Soccer Rankings hasn't figured out these games exist and scores aren't being fed into their rankings. It would be nice if anyone with players in these clubs could respond here with which team is playing in the VSPL league.

| For at least the North division, it's all top teams at the Pre-ECNL level (U11 - U12). Then, at U-13, it's the 2nd teams for those clubs with Academy (i.e., ECNL) teams. So, Loudoun, PWSI & VSA into VDA and Arlington. I believe it's the same for the South division as well. |

| We have a team in the South. Our club just joined this ECNL-RL/Pre-ECNL League. All the teams appear to be the top teams in the South, but that's a bit relative as top doesn't always mean quality. I'm hoping the South gets more games with the North but doesn't appear to be the case. Maybe it'll be adjusted. Hoping our club gets into the top or full ECNL quickly. |

VSA 11B premier elite in NCSL I think is same as VSA pre ECNL 11B
I guess there are overlaps in leagues |

| From what I've heard, there are at least two more cross-over games that are supposed to happen between the North and South division teams to begin the spring season. If you travelled for an Away crossover game in the fall, you should probably have two South division teams come to play your club in the spring. And, if you were home in the fall, you'll likely have to travel to play two different clubs from the South division in the spring. It also looks like there probably aren't any "playoffs" until the U-13 age group level. That's the same as State Cup, though. |

Most of the Villarreal focus is on the current U12 group coached by the Dad who never stops screaming on the sidelines - at players or refs. He moves up with his son every year and torments the league in the process. |

Are all the Villarreal girls teams in this league FCV players? I saw some of their games this weekend and all the girls had Villarreal shirts but FCV bags |
