APS calendar - Oct 21

Is this an early release or no school for elementary? In the approved calendar I am looking at in one place it says no school on the days with that symbol but then it also has an E on the calendar?

I think I know the calendar you’re looking at, the one with the pluses? That one is very confusing. I prefer this one instead which is easier to see which days they have off, and, the first page has explanations.

21st is early release for elementary. 22nd day off for middle and elementary.

Extended day goes until 6pm on elementary early release days, right?

Thanks- yes I was looking at the one with the ++ signs. Used that when it was approved to put the whole school year on my calendar. Obviously reading it wrong when I did. Sigh.

The 21st and 22nd are fall parent teacher conferences.

If you are in Immersion, it’s 2 full days off. Since the kids have 2 classroom teachers (Spanish/English) each teacher essentially has 45+ kids to do conferences with.

All other elementary schools it’s and ER day followed by a teacher workday.

Incorrect. Immersion is the same as other elementary schools this year.

Yes, it used to be like the PP said but doesn’t appear to be the case this year.
