Thin lining...FET delayed..what to think?

Anonymous
I’m on oral estrace and went in for my lining check pre FET. Under 7 and was told it’s too thin. Now they are changing it to vaginal and have delayed the transfer by a few days.

How concerned should I be? Should I assume this cycle isn’t likely to work or as long as my lining thickens, it doesn’t really matter it was delayed?

I’m kind of annoyed because for my first FET, which was successful, I had estrogen patches and didn’t have any issues. Seems like some women don’t do well with the oral estrogen. Now I’m nervous because I’m also being told I have to do PIO instead of only suppositories, which also worked the first FET a few years ago.

Nope, this is quite common and doesn’t impact success. Additionally studies now show a much higher success rate for PIO then just suppositories. Good luck!

Getting my PIO shot right now, OP, so feeling your pain (literally). I also had a successful FET a few years ago using suppositories… but just went with the new recommendation. My beta is Wednesday, but my hpts have been positive since last Tuesday and my progesterone check last week was nice and high. Hang in there!

Unfortunately found out today I have been taking the incorrect dosage of meds. I posted a new post about this.
