My nephew goes there and is really happy. Teachers are very caring and involved-- my sister hears from them a lot (in a good way!). I've heard from others that it's good, too.

My daughter will start at the neighboring school, Wyngate, next year. I have friends that will begin at Ashburton next year. Throught them, I hear that the neigborhood is very proud of the school and it is well-regarded.

Have you visited Wyngate yet? Thoughts?

I'm another poster but my son will also be starting at Wyngate in the fall. I visited in January and was very impressed, especially with the Principal.

I have no personal experience with Wyngate but my neighbors all love the school. From what I have heard and read on websites where people post reviews of schools, the principal at Wyngate runs a tight ship and is part of why the school is so well-liked.

My two daughters have attended Ashburton for several years now and we love it. We have had some truly remarkable teachers for our kids - very caring, talented professionals. The principal is great too - she is very engaged and on top of things. Plus the school has just been renovated and expanded! Anyway, just wanted to put in some good words for a great school.
