Does it strike anyone else as strange, or at least disappointing, that about one-third of the posts on this forum are basically smug comments on threads in other forums?

It doesn't strike me as strange. The forum is a general discussion forum for any and all topics. Its only purpose is to provide a somewhat higher level of decorum. Smugness is allowed.

Really? I think one thread joking about the other forums out of twenty isn't that extreme. (I even admitted having participating in the exact thread we were dishing about, so I'm not sure we were being elitist.) What I find disappointing about the Members Only Forum is that there is such little traffic that the threads seeking real information, advice, etc. get one or two replies, max. Why aren't more people willing to participate? Maybe it will gain some traction over time? CB
