Please suggest some powdered soup mixes that can be reconstituted with hot water. I know they are not very good or very good for you, but the situation is what it is. Cooking from scratch, frozen/refrigerated, and canned are not an option. What would you take camping if you had to use a kettle of hot water rather than a Coleman? Single serving or divide le into single servings before reconstitution, please. |
I imagine powdered tomato soup would be better than powdered cream of anything. The cream always gets funky (as in thin and watery) if you don't add real cheese or cream or roux to it.
Also would be good if you could catch some fish. ![]() ![]() |

That's okay - I got some options. Order dry fish (sometimes called stock fish) and beef jerky online. I'd combine this first one with some actual tomato powder and dried fish.
