Pediatrician recommendation- so over Potomac Pediatrics

I am done with the terrible wait times, phones crashing, lack of quality of the nurses and over all poor practice management of Potomac Pediatrics and need to find a new practice for my kids. I wish our doctor would just go out on his own because we really like him but it isn’t worth staying. I am struggling to find a practice that accepts non newborn patients. Any recommendations? Looking for a practice that actually picks up the phone when you call and has reasonable wait times. Thanks!

Sounds like you're nowhere near my area, but worth a shot: I love Metropolitan Pediatrics (north Arlington). They are very friendly and responsive, convenient for COVID testing, knowledgeable and helpful with daycare requirements, and just overall helpful. Dr. McCarthy and Dr. Gandhi are my favorites there but I've never had a bad experience overall. Never a long wait either -- they are very on top of keeping waiting room traffic low.

We're very happy with Metropolitan Pediatrics in Rockville. No waiting ever when we arrive for appointments, evidence-based medicine (eg will not prescribe antibiotics without a damn good reason), great nurses, friendly admin staff, quick to call back when we call the nurses line with an issue.
