| I had posted about this before but lots seemed to question the accuracy. Now that it is publicly reported and supporting by the WaPo, I am raising this issue again. Remember that whole thing about Johnson’s entire sixth grade class getting forced into quarantine this first week of school? Well, that was due to a single unvaccinated personnel. So far, all of the entire grade and entire classroom quarantines have been due to 1+ unvaccinated personnel. So, this begs the question, why hasn’t Bowser REaLlY mandated vaccinations among personnel - no testing opt out allowed?! This is unfair to students and incredibly disruptive! |

| Adults in schools are far more likely to test positive than children, per the health department. It is very strange that we allow unvaccinated adults in schools. |

The DC Council is holding a hearing TOMORROW on COVID school safety. If you want mandatory vaccines, email Chairman Phil Mendelson and tell him:
pmendelson@dccouncil.us The Council can do this if the mayor refuses to take action. |

Mayor just announced that all adults who are regularly in schools and child care facilities must be fully vaccinated by Nov. 1 and there is no "test-out" option.
