My LO started at a new preschool this week. At drop off in the morning, when I peek through the window to knock for a teacher to come get my LO, I can see her mask is always pulled down under her chin. There are usually only 2-3 other kids in the room, so I'm hoping shes just doing this when she is far away from others? Should I mention something to the director or am I being neurotic.
Also, I am not aware of her vaccine status. |
Mention to director. Even if she is far away her aeresols could reach your kid |
You are neurotic. They are trying! Just take a breather. |
She's probably vaccinated. Jesus. Once you're vaxxed it's just so freaking annoying to wear it in a room full of kids. It's hot and they can't see your mouth when they need to.
Just ask about her vaccination status. You have a right to know. |
Anyone who is following the news/science knows that masking is now recommended, especially around young children who are not eligible to be vaccinated. Absolutely ask the director what the policy is. If all staff need to wear masks, the teacher needs a reminder from her superiors. If they are not required, I would find a safer place. |
Masking has always been recommended! Jesus. |
Masks are required from staff and the children at this preschool. |
It’s morning, maybe she was taking a sip of coffee, or water. Are you able to observe through the window for a few minutes to see if she pulls it back up or leaves it down? |
It has been under her chin every morning since last wed. I’m going to try and look in at the end of the day when the room is full of kids abs take note. I really like this teacher so i don’t want to get her in trouble but this also confirms me. |
