Not gooey, but pecan twirls are good and somewhat clean in the generic versions. Immaculate baking also has some more natural bake at home ones.

I make them using Stella Parks' One-bowl recipe. You need to plan ahead, but if you have a stand mixer it's very little work.

Not to highjack, but I have never had a good cinnamon roll. At least not one that seemed as amazing as people claim. Everything seems dry and the bread part overly sweet but otherwise flavorless. I realize I’m looking for something texture and flavorwise like a raisin challah and then with yummy cream cheese icing. Any place around here with something like that.
