Where can I get a good, gooey cinnamon roll? |
Not gooey, but pecan twirls are good and somewhat clean in the generic versions. Immaculate baking also has some more natural bake at home ones. |

I make them using Stella Parks' One-bowl recipe. You need to plan ahead, but if you have a stand mixer it's very little work. |
Schwan has amazing frozen pecan cinnamon rolls. You microwave them for a minute and they are SO GOOD. https://www.schwans.com/product/pecan-caramel-rolls/61323 |
Have you tried Cinnaholic? |
The Dutch Market locations have good ones. They are only open Thursday - Saturday. |
Best Buns near Tysons or in Shirlington. |

+1 love this place |
I haven't tried their cinnamon buns, but everything else I've tried here is delish. Located in Alexandria.

Not to highjack, but I have never had a good cinnamon roll. At least not one that seemed as amazing as people claim. Everything seems dry and the bread part overly sweet but otherwise flavorless. I realize I’m looking for something texture and flavorwise like a raisin challah and then with yummy cream cheese icing. Any place around here with something like that. |
There is only Cinnabon. |
The best I’ve ever had was at The Greenbriar in West Virginia. |
