X-Large Soccer Socks

My U16 son with the Size 14 feet now has new cleats thanks to your recommendations! But we now need new socks for big feet. Any recommendations for soccer socks in the size 13 to 15 range?

Where/what cleats did you end up getting? Did the size work out??

I ordered the Adidas Copa Mundial cleats from worldsoccer.com. No store actually stocked a Size 14. But I'm striking out on soccer socks. I can only find size L (shoe size 9 to 13) during my minimal online searching. (And, of course, all the actual stores in the area laughed at me when I asked them if they carried the XL socks.)

How about just cutting off the socks? That's what my son does and most boys U15 and up.
