2011s born after 8/1 are most likely to be Sophomores and lower next fall not Juniors. Which is why below is mathematically correct.

Still 100% correct.

This is for next fall when SY starts.

11v11 = U18/U19 = ≤ 8/1/2007-7/31 ≈ Senior + lower
11v11 = U17 = ≤ 8/1/2009-7/31 ≈ Senior " "
11v11 = U16 = ≤ 8/1/2010-7/31 ≈ Junior " "
11v11 = U15 = ≤ 8/1/2011-7/31 ≈ Sophomore " "
11v11 = U14 = ≤ 8/1/2012-7/31 ≈ Freshman " "
11v11 = U13 = ≤ 8/1/2013-7/31 ≈ 8th grade " "
9v9/11v11 = U12 = ≤ 8/1/2014-7/31 ≈ 7th grade " "
9v9 = U11 = ≤ 8/1/2015-7/31 ≈ 6th grade " "
9v9 = U10 = ≤ 8/1/2016-7/31 ≈ 5th grade " "
7v7 = U9 = ≤ 8/1/2017-7/31 ≈ 4rd grade " "
7v7 = U8 = ≤ 8/1/2018-7/31 ≈ 3nd grade " "
4v4 = U7 = ≤ 8/1/2019-7/31 ≈ 2nd grade " "
4v4 = U6 = ≤ 8/1/2019-7/31 ≈ 1st grade " "
4v4 = U5 = ≤ 8/1/2020-7/31 ≈ Kindergarten " "

Using U13 as an example what this is saying is...

1. They play 11v11
2. Players turn 13 after Aug 1
3. Players are younger than or equal to 8/1/2013
4. Players are most likely in 8th grade or lower

In the 2026–2027 school year, children born after August 1, 2010, will generally be entering 10th grade (Sophomore year) or 11th grade (Junior year), depending on their specific birth month and your local district's cutoff date.

Its always the same with the play downers and hold back people. They try do make it sound like playing against younger players is no big deal. When in reality they're stealing correct grade players opportunities.

If the kids literally are the same age, it's not cheating OR stealing. And if you favor the kids in the younger grade, you are cheating OR stealing opportunities from that kid who's in the higher grade.

The club needs to help them BOTH. Not favor one over the other. These clubs are selling platforms to college coaches which means making sure ALL players get the exposure they need. The better they are at that, the more they succeed. That's why they're willing to be flexible.

All you want to do is play down older players against younger ones. Stealing younger players opportunities.

I'm for doing what's BEST for EACH player. That might be playing up OR playing on age. Case-by-case. If you want clubs instead to force inflexible rules on people, what comes around goes around eventually.

No you're not. You're about hiding behind the rules and waiting for whatever opportunity you see to try and push your play down agenda. Too bad its not going to work here.
Here playing up as a choice isn't allowed and playing up is rare and reserved for the best on a case by case basis as decided by clubs based on talent. There is no hiding behind rules, the clubs run the show.

Pretty evident for anyone not trying to hide behind the rules trying to make their Sept kid the oldest.

"Here" plays by the same rules as everyone else. Over time clubs even "here" will start playing playing Aug birthdays on their grade in school team because its easier and solves all kinds of issues.

Back to your solving non existent problems narrative I see

1 Clubs don't have a problem today based on kids DOB or month only

2 There is and won't be any such thing as a grade in school team in club soccer. Not even HS has grade in school teams, only Varsity and Junior Varsity

Then why go through changing from BY to SY. If grade in school doesnt exist?

Seasonal Year has nothing to do with School Grade

If there was such a thing as grade in school groupings, they would have dropped U6, U10, U16 and replaced with 5th Grade, 8th Grade.

They didn't. Why? Because grade in school groupings doesn't exist in club soccer.

Dude everyone literally said that they're changing from BY to SY so theres less trapped players.

Try and explain what a trapped player is without acknowledging grade in school.
A trapped player is kid playing up an age group under the new 8/1-7/31 age group which can be avoided by playing on age.

Using U14 as an example what this is saying is...
Age guy doesnt understand math
1. They play 11v11
2. Players turn 14 after Aug 1
3. Players are younger than or equal to 8/1/2012
4. Players are most likely in 8th grade

But I held my kid back in school how is she supposed to play with other kids in her grade?

Its always the same with the play downers and hold back people. They try do make it sound like playing against younger players is no big deal. When in reality they're stealing correct grade players opportunities.

Except an August player who went to school on time is not playing down when they play on age and not on grade. I know it's hard to comprehend, hopefully you'll understand one day.

2010s born after 8/1 are most likely to be Sophmores next fall not Juniors. Which is why below is mathematically correct.

Still 100% correct.

Shes not supposed to play down against younger players. Pretty simple.
