Please recommend your dog food

Looking for a new dog food. We give our dog Purina One but she doesn't seem to like it, plus we're wondering if she's allergic to it. She is a 30-pound poodle mix. Our vet isn't much help. Please recommend your dog food. Thanks!

+1 for Farmina and Honest Kitchen. Honest Kitchen is human grade and Farmina is an Italian company where there are higher standards for dog food. I recommend a rotation diet, lowers your risk of different allergies.

Can't say enough about it. Raw food (you don't have to touch it though, the way it's packaged). Her coat is luminous. Her breath decent, she smells good, all itching is gone. Was recommended by the lady who cleans her teeth--her gums were inflamed. Now that's gone.

It's mail order so takes a couple of orders to see how much to buy. I have my order set to come every three weeks.

She eats lamb, beef, chicken, turkey, and duck.

Separate from Darwin's....once a week, I give her a tin of sardines (unsalted, in water, not oil). Then I do give her something to chew on, or take her for a walk, because her breath does smell like sardines for 1/2 hour. So good for dogs with the Omega 3s etc.

Our poodle can’t do chicken. It makes her insanely itchy. She eats Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Lamb and Brown Rice.

My dog gets Canidae lamb and rice, but +1 to Honest Kitchen if you don't mind the slight extra work.

Anyone do wholehearted? I have been doing it but then my vet told me grain free is bad so I need to switch to something else

I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard good things about Open Farm. They only use ethically sourced ingredients. https://openfarmpet.com/

Used to use Orijen before they spun off part of the company from being made in Canada (better ingredients) to US to supply to the American market. Now I do 75% homemade and 25% Blue buffalo fish, My dog had it at my parents' house and liked it.
