Hi there
Late to the party but wanted recommendations on any places I can enroll my kid Either this year or next |
You're too late really. If it's not already on a top team by age 2, you might as well forget it. |
| what are teams? Can you recommend some? |
| DC United if they have a low ceiling, Madrid or ManU if you think they'll amount to something |
look around your neighborhood and go with whatever club has the most car magnets because that's where every other kid in the neighborhood is going |
|
In case you couldn't tell from the sarcastic comments, 2 year olds don't need organized soccer. Go into the backyard or nearby park and kick the ball around with them until they are bored. Better yet, go inside a fenced in tennis court (because you will tire out before they do).

LOL. Pretty soon you all will be asking about newborn classes.
Kidding but for that age I know of shooting stars or soccer shots. |
|
For those that actually want something for their kid before rec opens up, look into lil kickers, lil lions, and usually each club has their tots section that children can play with others their age for about 45 min. The focus is soccer.
Both of my kids did it when they were 3 and 4, they enjoyed it. |
| It’s an easy answer actually - Loudoun if it’s a boy or FCV for a girl. |
| Gerber United |
Once we're done being children and giggling at the obvious sarcasm here... THIS is the correct answer! Tom Byer's book. https://soccerstartsathomebook.com |
Lol beach nut naturals vs Berber united. That would be a good match up. |
Even the YMCA has programs for that age. It’s a good intro to the sport and fun for the kids. |

Where are you?
In MoCo I think Brit-Am does classes for three year olds. We done it and it was fun, it just gets them moving a round and kicking a ball. |
