Please explain the role of an Executive Director within a youth sports or non-profit organization. Any example(s) of people to support your statements would be greatly appreciated.

Most nonprofits will have the ED participate as a non-voting member. Once you start having an ED vote on matters you start to get into trouble with nonprofit laws.
